About LaserMind
LaserMind is a free website for practising attention, memory and thinking skills. It combines interactive exercises, step-by-step guides to 73 training methods, and plain-language explanations of what research does — and does not — show.
What you will find here
- Train — interactive exercises such as the Stroop test, N-back and the Schulte table, scored automatically.
- Methods — 73 methods, each with steps, common mistakes, safety notes and an evidence grade for a specific outcome.
- Tools — timers, flashcards and guided sessions for practising on real tasks.
- Science — research reviews and myth checks, with references you can verify.
What we promise — and what we don’t
- Practice improves the practised task. When benefits beyond that are uncertain or not supported, we say so.
- Your scores are compared only with your own history — never with “the population”, and never converted into an IQ or a “brain age”.
- The exercises are practice, not medical tests. Nothing on LaserMind diagnoses or treats any condition.
- Accounts are optional. As a guest, your progress stays on your own device.
Who makes LaserMind
LaserMind is written and built by the LaserMind Team, and articles are published under that name. How we research, write and correct content is set out in our editorial policy and in how we review evidence.
